The Old Stables is a converted Victorian barn sitting adjacent to the main house. Three ensuite bedrooms, a tapestry dining room, its own kitchen, and a private entrance. Completely independent. Ideal for smaller groups who want the full Somerleaze experience without the scale of the main house.

Completely refurbished throughout 2025 and into early 2026, the building has been transformed from the ground up. Exposed stone walls and original oak beams have been retained and celebrated throughout. The character of the Victorian structure is entirely intact, now with the warmth and finish of a well-considered contemporary interior.

Underfloor heating runs through the ground floor, and the private driveway provides dedicated parking and a fully secure entrance separate from the main house. The walled garden is completely enclosed, quiet, private, and ideal for outdoor dining on a warm evening.

The gym is large by any standard: a proper space with Pilates reformer, stone walls and high oak-beamed ceilings. If you'd like a personal trainer or Pilates instructor during your stay, our concierge can arrange it.
